This German made stein honors the 75th Anniversary of VE-Day Victory in Europe Day (1945 - 2020). The front features a large photograph showing European celebrating the end of the war. The scene is framed by a laurel of gilded leaves, with USA flags & flying eagles on the left and right.

Sides feature two scrolls outlining the time line of the end of the war and liberation in Europe: June 1944 D-Day, March 1945 Bridge of Remagen, April 1945  U.S. and Russian Troops meet in Torgau, June 1944 Liberation of Rome, August 1944 Liberation of Paris, May 1945 Liberation of Berlin.  Features a 3D pewter figurine of a Sherman Tank on the lid and USA emblem on the thumblift.

75 Years VE-Day - 75 Years Peace, Freedom, Friendship

8 May 1945 is known as VE Day.  Victory in Europe ended the World War II conflict when Nazi-Germany surrendered to Allied forces. It is date to be remembered. Victory in Europe ended the conflict that had resulted in the destruction of families, villages, towns and cities.  Millions of people lost their lives as a result of total war.  Europe was in a state of massive destruction and personal sufferings.  Millions of people from around the world celebrated this end to hostilities in that theater of the war.  For the 75 years since VE Day, there has evolved a spirit of cooperation and partnership between previous enemies.  This partnership has seen unbounded development and re-building businesses and societies as a whole.  Governments who recognize that they are representatives of their citizens have developed friendship and partnership to build strong relations with each other. Cooperation between countries to provide happy and fruitful lives for the citizens has resulted in greater peace around the world. 

From the ashes of total war we have seen the birth of a New World!
